JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you want to help shape the energy company of the future? We are now looking for a Head of Marketing & Customer Experience who wants to contribute to Varberg Energi's journey to become Sweden's most customer-centric and future-driven energy company.
We are facing an exciting expansion from a strong regional company to a national player with a top-class digital customer journey, a clear and bold brand, and a data-driven marketing organization. We are now looking for someone who wants to build, change, and take us all the way.
As Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, you will be responsible strategically and operationally for:
- Driving the company's national market growth.
- Strengthening and modernizing our brand.
- Creating a smooth, smart, and personalized digital customer experience.
- Ensuring data-driven and automated communication as well as efficient marketing flows.
- Increasing customer engagement, strengthening loyalty, and driving sales.
- Leading an engaged team focused on marketing, customer experience (CX), communication, and digital sales.
You play a crucial role in the company's transformation journey and are given great freedom to shape strategies, working methods, and organization.
The position involves reporting to the Head of Marketing and Sales and leading a team of 4 people with expertise in marketing, communication, CX, CRM/MA, content production, design, digital sales, PR/sponsorship, and data analysis.
As Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, you are expected to contribute to:
- Driving national growth and significant increases in digital sales.
- Creating a seamless and engaging digital customer journey with high activation.
- A strong, clear, and differentiating brand.
- More leads, higher conversion, and more effective campaigns.
- Improved customer loyalty, reduced churn, and higher customer lifetime value.
- A modern, data-driven marketing organization with clear processes and KPIs.
- A positive work environment and inspiring employee experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who combines strategic leadership with operational strength. You are comfortable leading broad marketing and CX teams but also enjoy being hands-on in strategy, communication, CRM/MA, and digital initiatives.
You are:
- Passionate about creating outstanding customer experiences.
- Data-driven, analytical, and comfortable with OKR management.
- Experienced in working with modern martech platforms such as CRM, MA, and CDP.
- Experienced in digital marketing, conversion, and mass market B2C.
- A skilled communicator with a sense for both brand and results.
- An experienced and inspiring leader who builds energy, pace, and clear direction.
- Experienced in B2B marketing.
- University/College educated in marketing.
Background in energy, telecom, e-commerce, fintech, or other data-driven industries is a plus.
